Manufacturing Excellence
All Deakin & Francis signet rings are handmade in our Birmingham factory. The process of making a signet ring has as much history and heritage as the piece itself.
Our traditional process of creating a solid signet ring involves a series of specialist operations, including the hand-engraving of the design, stone setting, die stamping and polishing. A modern method would involve the use of automated machinery and casting which creates an inferior quality ring.
Single Mine Origin
Single Mine Origin (SMO) denotes gold that has been produced by a legitimate mining operation which holds no ties to conflict, where miners are paid a just wage under secure employment. All of our 9ct and 18ct gold signet rings use this sustainably sourced gold, which guarantees that the communities living locally to the gold source are benefitting from sustainability initiatives including programmes centred on education, healthcare, safe drinking water and agricultural prosperity to support a wide number of people. We offer a range of Single Mine Origin gold and silver signet rings, ideal for any taste.
Family Crests
Our range of handmade signet rings can be engraved with finely-detailed lettering and family crests, becoming a symbol of both personal style and family heritage. Engraved signet rings are available in both solid gold and sterling silver, and in both traditional cushion shapes and classic oval designs. Find out more about family crest signet rings.
