What is a Signet Ring?
Utterly English in tradition, a signet ring is an emblem of personal heritage and family history; it dates as far back as the 12th century. With a heritage of over two hundred years, Deakin & Francis creates bespoke, handmade signet rings that last the test of time. Hand engraved with a coat of arms or a personal signature using a wax impression, our signet rings are created with a personally tailored design consultation.
All our signet rings are die-stamped in the traditional way and are available in a wide range of head sizes and shapes. They are made using high quality metals including platinum, white, yellow and rose gold. Unlike cast rings (which are often porous) created with modern methods, our signet rings are perfect for standard or seal engraving. All our rings have the weight and quality feel about them enabling a deep detailed engraving. At Deakin & Francis, we respect that your signet ring is a heritage piece which will be cherished over time and long into the future.
